So much has change but so much is still the same. Avon has really come a long way since the day of "ding dong, Avon calling".
I am very excited to get busy building my new business as an Independant Sales Rep for Avon. Gone are the days of territories and now, as an Independant Rep, we are open to sell to anyone, anywhere! You can beat the pavement, sell strickly online or a combination of both. Me? I'm going to do both.
Avon has really done a great job of giving the Reps tools to succeed starting with a website. Reps get their very own website that is so user friendly that anyone can use it. The great thing about the website is that customers from anywhere in the US (they are globally too) can log into my site and order. The customer can then have their products shipped directly to them! How great is that?

For those who are not so comfortable with online purchases, there is still the one on one ordering system where the Rep comes to their home and gives them a brochure. I personally like to touch stuff I am looking at. There is still something nice about that personal touch you can give a customer when you are dealing with them one on one. It is much easier to give great customer service. To go above and beyond, so to speak.
Well, for now, I have 2 customers signed up online and several ready to order offline from my first campaign. We'll see where it goes from there!!
